Frankenweenie is a visually stunning black and white, stop-motion animated film in 3D and is the first animated film that Tim Burton has directed for Disney.
In conjunction with Disney and agency Digital Outlook, yellowBird were commissioned to create experiential interactive Surround Video footage of behind-the-scenes activities led by key production members including Producer Allison Abbate and Tim Burton himself.

The yellowBird team shot in full HD as they swooped over the snowy slopes at 4800m equipped with a special Surround Video camera-rig. The team captured the breathtaking beauty of the mountain and surrounding peaks. We even managed to capture a team of walkers who had achieved the summit climb!The online experience allowed users of the Mont Blanc site to fly through the Alps and interact with the video through floating interactive hotspots.

Teen band 'Lemonade Mouth' invited yellowBird to help produce some dynamic content to promote the release of their new film to millions of fans across the world. The content included documentary video of the band on a sightseeing tour through London and a music video filmed on top of the 'Gherkin' tower, London.

Using a custom free diving underwater kit which allowed our operator to leap into the lake, we captured a stunning underwater experience.

For the new KIA CEE’D launch campaign in Europe, yellowBird had to shoot a band inside a car - no small feat! The rich media application also features localisations for 16 countries, and transformations between traditional and Surround Video. Every detail of this new car can be explored, fully interactively.

Germany based fashion brand Schumacher fully embraced a Surround Video concept for their online campaign for the Spring/Summer 2013 collection. yellowBird was invited to produce a trailer, video-on-demand assets and a stunning multi-cam live stream of the Schumacher show, broadcast straight from the runway during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Berlin.

Bestival footage, which sits on the Guardian YouTube page and website allows music lovers across the world to see ʻthe bigger pictureʼ as the Guardian leads the pack in documenting music festivals online. The fast paced walkthrough highlighting happy festival go-ers listening to cool bands and having a blast is guided by Raf Rundell of the 2 Bears and Bestival's own Rob da Bank.

We will film 60 hotels around the world in Surround Video from the perspective of the customer - arriving by car at the entrance, reception, dining areas, bedroom suites and rooftop views. We have also provided an HTML fallback option so panoramic footage can be seen on mobile phones. Additionally yellowBird has been requested to build a mobile app for the iPhone and iPad.

Imagine being able to test drive a Landrover in multiple challenging environments without ever leaving the showroom. Well that's what Landrover created for the Beijing Motor Show 2012. After using the in-car All Terrain Response switch to select environments, beautifully shot Surround Video of 5 different landscapes, surround sound audio and an articulated rig suspension worked together to re-create the feel of the terrain.
